Dr. Martin and Dr. Murphy are both members of the HealthCare Partners, a department of Florida Hospital Memorial Medical Center, which represents a full range of primary care physicians and specialists.
Robert Martin, MD not only practices neurosurgery, he was an Associate Professor of Neurosurgery and Orthopedic Surgery at State University of New York Upstate Medical Center from 1992 to 1997. As an associate professor, he traveled around the world giving presentations to other physicians, about the clinical research and advances in his field. While at this teaching hospital, Dr. Martin researched and practiced advanced forms of treatment that were not available in your average community hospital.
Mark Murphy, MD attended Medical College of Virginia which has one of the top neurosurgical programs in the country. After completing his residency at the University of Alabama at Birmingham, he worked in private practice in Rome, Georgia for 22 years and was well respected in that community.
