Florida Hospital Memorial Medical Center (FHMMC) formerly Florida Hospital Ormond Memorial, is located in a brand new, state-of-the-art facility located on a 135-acre campus in Daytona Beach, Florida. Opened in July, 2009, the new building houses over 400 beds and is Volusia County's most comprehensive hospital.
The new facility features ten patient floors, family friendly, all private patient rooms with window views; an expanded emergency department and BirthCare Center and an endovascular/hybrid operating room. Additionally, a medical office building connects to the first five floors of the hospital, providing patients and physicians with convenient access between hospital and offices.
Along with Florida Hospital Oceanside, Florida Hospital Memorial Medical Center is able to provide access to the Florida Hospital Comprehensive Cancer Center, the Peninsula Rehabilitation Center, Florida Hospital Imaging, Florida Hospital Heart Institute, inpatient and same day surgery, critical care, respiratory care, the Diabetes Center and the Center for Wound Healing and Hyperbaric Oxygen Therapy.
