Today we were requested by Dr. Ruth and Dr. Fausto to go and minister to patients on a remote island known as Island de Concerto. This entailed a 15 minute ride by truck and 45 min ride by very small wooden boat to the village. We treated about about 75 adults and children. We treated everything from parasites to throat infections. In appreciation for the care we provided, the locals prepared lunch which included fried sea bass and rice. The remaining team members stayed at the hospital in Tengel treating patients in the ER and Maternity ward. Linda Misko and the Mission Team
