 Our team started off the day at a service for the church we built in El Guabo in 2007. It was exciting to return to the neighborhood. We were remembered and welcomed with open arms. It was impressive to see all the progress on the church and local park across the street. The elders of the church hosted a lunch for us at their house. On behalf of FHMMC, the team donated money to help support the cause to build a fence around the church.
Our team, spearheaded by Donna, donated all remainder of childrens toys and supplies along with extra clothes to the elders to dispurse the the community as needed. For our last meal in Machala, the owners of the hotel took us downtown to give his view of city park and cathederal.
