Florida Hospital Memorial Medical Center Introduces New Administrative Director,
New Director of Inpatient Services
Daytona Beach, FL (August 25, 2009) --- Florida Hospital Memorial Medical Center (FHMMC) is proud to announce the addition of two new team leaders.
Diana Brass has joined FHMMC as administrative director of HealthCare Partners, an FHMMC department offering a comprehensive panel of more than 25 physicians from primary and specialty care to neurosurgery and cancer specialists.
Prior to joining FHMMC, Brass served as director of networking contracting services for Seton Family of Hospitals in Austin, TX. At Seton Family, she was responsible for oversight and management of all network agreements, including hospital, clinic physician, human resource and supply chain. Brass brings with her more than 18 years of experience in health care administration. She graduated cum laude from Sonoma State University, Rohnert Park, CA, with a bachelor of arts in management with a concentration in accounting.
Tammy Purcell has joined FHMMC as director of inpatient services/ER at Florida Hospital Oceanside, where she leads a team responsible for patient care and daily ER operations, the nursing unit of Peninsula Rehab Center and a new inpatient unit, opening this fall.
With more than 20 years of experience in nursing care and management, Purcell comes to Ormond Beach from Kansas City, MO, where she served as clinical nurse manager at Saint Luke’s Cancer Institute. Purcell graduated from Tallahassee Community College with an associate’s in nursing.
