On Wednesday, May 18, Florida Hospital Memorial Medical Center was awarded the Commercial Beautification Award by Daytona Beach Mayor Glenn Ritchey at the city’s Commission Meeting.

Each month, the Beautification and Tree Advisory Board (BTAB) of Daytona Beach acknowledges a business and residential property owner who has beautified their property.  The BTAB is a volunteer board of citizens with a common goal to encourage and promote beautification of residential and commercial properties in Daytona Beach. The BTAB encourages new commercial buildings and residential properties to exceed the minimum requirements for trees and landscaping regulated by the city building codes.
