Connie Amatucci, Florida Hospital Memorial Medical Center Risk Management Director, has been elected to the Board of Directors of the Florida Society for Healthcare Risk Management & Patient Safety (FSHRMPS). Amatucci will serve a two-year term and will begin her commission on July 1. 

The FSHRMPS is the largest professional membership group of the Florida Hospital Association and is one of the largest chapters of the American Society for Healthcare Risk Management. FSHRMPS is actively involved in advancing healthcare risk management and patient safety in Florida through its advocacy activities. The group provides an organized structure at the local and state level for individuals in the field of health care risk management; provides a forum for the exchange of ideas and sharing of resources; and serves as a resource to related government organizations and associations.
