Gastroenterologist Joins Florida Hospital Memorial Medical Center
Gastroenterologist Adel Y. Daas, MD, has joined the medical staff at Florida Hospital Memorial Medical Center.

Dr. Daas comes to the Daytona Beach hospital after serving U.S. veterans as a staff physician for the James A Haley Veterans Affairs Hospital in Tampa in the Division of Gastroenterology and Hepatology.  

He is board certified in Gastroenterology and Hepatology by the American Board of Internal Medicine and has published works and research contributions with a focus on safety and quality improvement of endoscopy including advanced procedures such as Endoscopic Retrograde Cholangio-Pancreatography (ERCP). He recently participated in an on-going project focusing on improving polyp detection rates.

Dr. Daas received his Doctor of Medicine from the University of South Florida where he completed residency and subspecialty training. Dr. Daas also served as an associate professor at the University of South Florida in the Division of Digestive Diseases and Nutrition.

Dr. Daas’ new office is located inside Florida Hospital Memorial Medical Center’s Medical Office Building at 305 Memorial Medical Parkway, Suite 203, Daytona Beach. He is accepting new patients and most insurance plans and can be reached at (386) 231-3512.
